The Development of Dialogic
Music
This
activity can not be described as purely a sonic-based or music
compositional action. I have found that this activity involves
the creation of new musical instruments, interdisciplinary
collaborations, new scoring techniques and a renegotiation
of the tradition role given to the composer / director. however,
these activities are not the subject of my research. the outcomes
of my research are intended to experiment with in-between-ness.
this is relationship and dialogue grounded in actual encounters.
this is against connotative, symbolic, systematic and fully
predetermined approaches. this is ‘non-objective’
in the way I aim this work to discourage objectification.
and it is an experiment, and I do other things, but they are
mostly on hold for the moment as I confront this project.
