Statement

As an idea forms and searches for another idea to balance itself against, colours come and demand to be part of the show. As the research into texts develops, other colours and ideas push and shove their way into the frame.

What matters is not ‘how will it look?’ but ‘what will it do? ‘what will you do?’ What it will do does depend on how it looks, how you look at it, but woven into the dialogue there should be an inkling of danger, a call for change, a sense of the gloriousness of possibility and the deliciousness of paint.
